Directors Rudy Kern and Merlin Thompson are working on a documentary about the city of Los Santos in the state of San Andreas, the famous city from the video game GTA V. As part of the "Écran dedans, dehors" colloquium, I conducted an interview with the two directors who are immersed in a Franco-American city where each resident strives to bring the city to life by performing their assigned roles to the best of their abilities.
Rudy Kern and Merlin Thompson are the avatars of the artist duo Charlotte Cherici and Lucas Azemar, for whom I worked as an editor on their film "Bac à sable" (Sandbox).
